A Community Honoring of Loved Ones
This morning, students, faculty and staff of The Island School family waded out into the water on Boys’ Dorm Beach to place a flower in honor of their loved ones. This flower ceremony was inspired by the passing of an Island School alumna, Katie Johnson. Katie is remembered by those whose lives she touched as someone who had the special ability to bring people closer together, and this ceremony did just that. She will be missed.
