Our Campus Home

Deep Creek Middle School was founded in the settlement of Deep Creek in 2001.

Beginning in the fall of 2026, Deep Creek Middle School will be based at The Island School on Cape Eleuthera. The campus is designed to encourage sustainable living and offers cutting-edge research and learning spaces.

Students and educators utilize the resources and access of this shared location, which includes water access via beach and boats, the research institute, farm, extended classroom space, and much more.

With a shared mission and focus on alternative education, staff at The Island School have worked with DCMS to help advance the campus and maintain our prestigious Eco-School Green Flag status.

Our former campus in Deep Creek will evolve to become a community center that is open to all for tutoring, recreation, community events, and more.
